Bulgur Pilaf with Mushroom and Tomato

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup bulgur wheat, washed and drained
  • 2 grated tomatoes
  • 10-15 mushroom
  • 1 onion, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 green peppers, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon palm oil
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2,5 glass of hot water
  • 1 dessertspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Method:
  1. In a pot, saute palm oil and olive oil with onions and green peppers for 3-5 minutes.
  2. After the onions and peppers get roasted, add grated tomatoes in it. After cooking the tomatoes for a while, lastly add the mushrooms you chopped.
  3. After cooking the mushrooms for 8-10 minutes, add the bulgur to the pot and cook for 3 minutes. Add the spices on it.
  4. Add 2,5 glass of hot water on it and close the lid of the pot. Then wait for it to absorb the water.
  5. After it absorbs the water, turn down the stove.
  6. Serve your bulgur pilaf while it is hot. Enjoy!
