Best friend for your coffee: Churros

Ingredients

For the dough
  • 1 glass of flour
  • ½ glass of water
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 g palm oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
For frying
  • 1,5 glass of palm oil
For the service
  • ½ glass of sugar
  • 90 g dark chocolate

Method

  1. Add the water, palm oil and salt into a pan and boil them until the palm oil gets melt.
  2. Add the flour little by little and mix it constantly.
  3. Take the dough from the oven and mix it until it gets cold. Add the eggs one by one and mix them with a spatula.
  4. To fry the churros, heat palm oil in a wide-bottomed pan with slightly raised sides.
  5. Transfer the dough into a piping bag with a knurled socket.
  6. Drop the doughs into the oil with a lenght you desire. When its fried on all sides, remove it from the oil with help of a colander.
  7. Leave them for a short time on a paper towel lined serving plate to remove excess oil.
  8. After chopping in into small pieces, melt the dark chocolate with double boiler.
  9. After sprinkling the hot churros with powdered sugar, share them with your loved ones by diping them in melted dark chocolate.
